Four production resources

  • Wood comes from the Lumberjack and supports building and training.
  • Clay comes from the Clay Pit and supports village and army requirements.
  • Iron comes from the Iron Mine and supports equipment and development.
  • Crop comes from Farms and contributes to the activity costs shown in the game.
  • Gems are a separate premium currency, not a fifth production resource.

Protected stock is not a balance cap

The Warehouse protects wood, clay and iron from looting; the Granary protects crop. Their protection values do not set the maximum amount of resources you can own.

Base protection for each covered resource is 900 + 300 × building level. Completing Warehouse Management, Fortified Warehouses and Regional Administration multiplies protection by 1.45.

A level 10 building protects 3,900 before protection research, or 5,655 after completing it. This is protection from looting, not production or a balance limit.

Plan your economy

  • Check your next goal's cost and identify the resource you lack.
  • Balance fields with Town Hall development and protection for the stock needed next.
  • Use the Market and trade once their requirements are met; read transaction details before confirming.
  • After gathering or combat, check mission settlement and the returning march before relying on its loot for an upgrade.
Check the game before confirming

Balance, prices, durations and availability may change. The confirmed in-game value takes precedence.
